As a charity, we need to raise 56% of the costs of providing our support services each year e.g. it costs €180 to provide a programme of Complementary Therapies, €480 to provide a programme of counselling and €2300 to run the Physical Activity Programmes per term. All services are provided free of charge. In 2025, Tuam Cancer Care provided support to over 300 people, 87 of which were new clients.
Every year we see so many novel and varied ideas to encourage involvement and raise funds, like a head shave, sporting tournaments, art exhibitions, tea mornings, karaoke nights and much more. The most important thing is to get family and friends involved and to have as much fun as possible.
If you would like to organise a fundraising event for Tuam Cancer Care, just fill in the Fundraising Proposal Form below with as much detail as possible and we will contact you to discuss your plans. We will offer assistance where we can by way of promotion… letter of authorisation, t-shirts, collection buckets, sponsorship cards, Social Media posts etc.
