| The aim of Tuam Cancer Care Support and Information Centre is to support and assist people diagnosed with cancer, their families and close friends, from the time of diagnosis, through treatment and afterwards. The support provided will, it is hoped, help the person with a cancer diagnosis to regain control of their lives and enhance personal coping skills, thereby maximizing their quality of life and ensuring a more positive psychological outcome.

| Open Night for Fundraisers |
Tuam Cancer Care is holding an open night as a THANK YOU for all who have organised, participated or sponsored fundraising events on behalf of the Centre on Friday, 18th November 2011 between 6.00 and 9.00pm. There will be a tour of our Centre and a presentation of our services. Refreshments will be served on the night and all are welcome. |
| Glen Moggan Memorial Cup |
Tuam Cancer Care would like to extend our sincere thanks to Grace Moggan and Tuam Anglers Association who recently raised €220 in the Glen Moggan Memorial Cup Angling Competition. Thanks also to the Rustic Vaults Bar, Tuam for holding the event. |
| Skydive and Parachute Jump |
Tuam Cancer Care would like to extend our sincere thanks to Orla Connaughton, Kilallonty, Tuam who recently undertook a Charity Skydive on behalf of Skydive Ireland which raised €400.
