The objective of Tuam
Cancer Care Support and Information Centre is to assist
people going through a cancer experience, their families and
close friends, from the time of diagnosis, through treatment
and afterwards. The support provided will, it is hoped, help
the person with a cancer diagnosis to regain control of their
lives and enhance personal coping skills, thereby maximising
their quality of life and ensuring a more positive psychological
outcome.
