Strides For Life Programme

The Irish Cancer Society’s Strides for Life brings participants through a structured walking programme gradually increasing fitness and training over time. The programme aims to bring each cancer survivor to a level of fitness where they can help reduce their risk of recurrence and improve their health and quality of life. Suitable for survivors of every fitness level, individualised plans take into account each participants fitness ability and personal schedule, increasing the workload every week over a 15 week period.

It is hoped that Strides for Life will help cancer survivors take positive steps towards better health. The programme is now available to any cancer survivors who wish to sign up.
