Tuam Cancer Care is a voluntary organisation that relies fully on fundraising to provide the services available at the drop in centre. There has been numerous fundraising events held in the past on behalf of Tuam Cancer Care

The following are just some examples of the types of fundraisers:

· Golf Outings
· Table Quiz
· Head Shaves
· Bridge Evenings
· Black Tie Balls
· Annual Memorial Soccer Matches
· Soccer Marathons
· Music Concerts
· Charity Walks / Runs
· Auctions of Art Works
· Race Days
On an annual basis Tuam Cancer Care also organise the participation of a large number of women (and some brave men) in the Flora Ladies Mini Marathon on the June Bank Holiday. The Mini Marathon is one of the biggest fundraisers every year, and the only event that is formally organised by the group. The remaining events are typically organised by local groups with involvement of some members of Tuam Cancer Care.

Tuam Cancer Care would ask that if anyone is considering running an event that they contact the centre before hand, so that we can provide the necessary support (information, t-shirts, baseball caps).

Tuam Cancer Care is extremely grateful to all those people who have taken part in fundraising events in the past, and who continue to do so, on an annual basis.
